Lóndrangar basalt cliffs on the west coast of the Snӕfellsnes Peninsula of Iceland is a popular spot for tourists to capture the epic seascape, but take a short hike off the beaten path and watch where your step; this basalt cliff, of several in the vicinity, lies in the middle of the field and only becomes truly visible when the tide washes into the shore a hundred feet below, and shoots sea water up this inland cliff face like a geyser.
