Description
Built in 1891, the Gooderham Building or the Flatiron Building was designed to fill the triangular lot where Front St. and Wellington St. cross in Toronto's St. Lawrence Market District. The five-storey building assumes a wedge-like shape which reportedly inspired the design of the Flatiron Building in New York built 11 years later.
