While sitting in this exact spot on Main St. in Bloomfield, Ontario, eating Slickers Ice Cream with my wife, Carole, I was admiring the old white house showing glimpses of it origins and evolution, when suddenly the photo gods shone down on me as this white '59 Cadillac pulled up right in front of the house. While its owner and family trekked across to my side of the street to get some ice cream of their own, I asked if it would be alright that I take a few shots of his car to which he happily agreed while punctuating that he was the proud new owner. The traffic was somewhat busy between me and the subject, so this photo was taken about 5 minutes after my brief conversion with the owner, and only a moment before he drove off with his 3 passengers all happily enjoying their fresh ice cream.
